PALM DESERT, California – May 6, 2016 – Associa Desert Resort Management recently hosted its Spring Board Member Boot Camp aimed at training HOA and condo association board members. More than 40 local associations sent a representative to the intense, half-day session at Desert Falls Country Club in Palm Desert.
“The boot camp covered everything from how to run a board meeting, to handling short-term rentals, rule change processes and how to enforce fines and disciplinary action,” said Desert Resort President Mark Dodge. “We had a lively discussion and Q&A on top things a board member needs to know. I think this course is a must for any association board.”
Presentations and panel discussions were led by Mark Dodge, Charles Walters-Clark and Nena Rutherford-Milward from Desert Resort Management along with attorney Wayne S. Guralnick of Guralnick, Gilliland & Knighten LLP.
