Associa, North America’s largest community association management firm, is supporting the history and legacy of the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance with a $10,000 donation.
“There is a rich source of history, lessons about choices and hope for humanity, right here in Dallas,” says Associa President and CEO John Carona. “We are proud to be a part of the preservation of this Museum and Center for Education which features a somber but pivotal time in history. This is a history that should never be forgotten—and that can move us forward.”
The $10,000 donation is the first of its kind for the museum from a corporate partner. “Associa has a strong commitment to corporate citizenship and advocacy as part of its overall corporate success model. We are excited and proud the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance is now an Associa community partner,” says Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance President and CEO Mary Pat Higgins.
Founded in 1984 by Holocaust survivors, the Museum is the only organization of its kind in the region (North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana) and hosts more than 57,000 visitors each year, including 27,000 students as well as members of the public from throughout the region. The Museum and staff are dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust, and to teaching the moral and ethical response to prejudice, hatred and indifference for the benefit of all humanity.
