Maggie Heineke

With a passion for science and a heart for service, Maggie Heineke is on a mission to become an orthodontist. Ranked in the top 12% of her class at New Richmond High School with a 3.7 GPA, Maggie has taken a rigorous course load including Advanced Placement Chemistry, Advanced Placement Biology, and multiple honors English and math classes. She plans to major in biochemistry or biology at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, following a pre-dental track that will lead her to dental school and an orthodontics residency.

Her leadership and involvement are equally impressive. Maggie is a four-year varsity soccer player, earning honors such as all-conference and best defender, and has also played basketball throughout high school. She’s served as class secretary, a mentor-in-charge in the Student to Student program, and a member of National Honor Society. Her community service includes coaching youth sports, tutoring, roadside cleanups, and making blankets for women’s shelters.

“In 2023, I faced the loss of two close family members and underwent a rare leg surgery that sidelined me from sports for months. Despite these challenges, I stayed focused on my goals. Receiving the Marianna Brady, PhD. Scholarship is a meaningful recognition of my resilience and dedication. It brings me one step closer to my dream of helping others through orthodontics.”

Maggie is the daughter of Jesse Heinecke.
