Giada Di Marca

Giada Di Marca is a passionate leader and aspiring educator whose dedication to both academics and the arts sets her apart. With a 3.8 GPA and a strong record of academic achievement, she is an Ontario Scholar and a candidate for both student of the year and valedictorian at Notre Dame Secondary School. This fall, she will begin a six-year concurrent education program at Brock University, majoring in English with the goal of becoming a high school English teacher.

Giada’s leadership experience is extensive. She has served as both secretary and prime minister of her school’s student council, where she led initiatives, organized events, and represented the student body. As cheer captain and a long-time dance instructor, she has taught and choreographed routines for students aged 4–17, while also performing at city events and fundraisers. Her community service includes years of volunteering at autism awareness events and city-led initiatives supporting children and families.

“My dream is to inspire students through literature and lead a hip-hop dance club that fosters creativity and confidence. Receiving the Marianna Brady, PhD. Scholarship allows me to focus fully on my studies and future as an educator without the added pressure of part-time work. I’m incredibly grateful for this support.”

Giada is the daughter of Angelo Di Marca.
