Cortland Gude

Cortland’s journey is a testament to perseverance, growth, and leadership. Diagnosed with neurodivergent developmental challenges at a young age, he overcome obstacles and thrived, earning a 4.0 GPA in his senior year and gaining acceptance to Beacon College, where he plans to study business and computer science. His academic achievements include the National ACS Recognition Award and Georgia Honor Roll, and he’s an active member of the Computer Science Honor Society.

Beyond the classroom, Cortland is a dedicated community servant and leader. He’s volunteered with organizations like Best Buddies International, Spectrum Autism Support Group, and St. James Church of Alpharetta. He’s also a proud participant in the Men of Tomorrow mentoring program, where he’s known for his maturity, empathy, and leadership.

“Receiving the Marianna Brady, PhD. Scholarship is a tremendous honor that validates my hard work and determination. This support will help me pursue my dream of combining technology and business to make a meaningful impact. I’m grateful for the encouragement and belief in my potential.”

Cortland is the son of Kym Harris.
