Dallas, TX – February 11, 2019 – Associa, the industry’s largest community management company, is proud to announce that Greg Smith, CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM®, senior community management consultant, has been appointed as a commissioner of the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB).
Mr. Smith has more than 17 years of community management experience and has held several positions including portfolio manager, vice president, and president. Mr. Smith has been a valued member of the Associa team since 2010. He currently serves as senior community management consultant and is responsible for the training and development of Associa’s community managers, branch leaders, and board members across North America. Mr. Smith is a certified CAI faculty member and has spoken at numerous CAI Annual Conferences and Chapter events.
CAMICB is governed by a nine-member Board of Commissioners. Seven commissioners are certified community association managers and two represent the public's interests.
“The appointment of Greg to the board is a natural fit,” stated Drew Mulhare, CMCA®, LSM®, PCAM®, CAMICB board chair. “Greg honorably served as CAI’s 2017 president and has been a valued member of the board of trustees. He has vast industry experience and a deep understanding of the international community association management landscape and best practices. His perspective and insights will be invaluable as CAMICB expands its international presence.”
