Kailua Kona, HI – May 17, 2018 - Associa Hawaii organized a very special Mother’s Day event at the Pahoa Red Cross Shelter for evacuees of the recent Kilauea volcano eruption on the island of Hawaii (Big Island.)

The incredible event was attended by more than 180 moms, 60 volunteers, countless national and local organizations, and the Associa Hawaii team, the moms were treated to a day of pampering, entertainment, food and festivities and gifted complimentary massages, essential oil gift bags, flowers and chocolates, salon services and much more. The crowd was entertained by Unity Nguyen and Band of Angels and feasted on catering sponsored by Associa Hawaii and Maulka Rotary.
“This event truly shows just how amazing and resilient Hawaii and the people of this island are,” stated Pauli Wong, Associa Hawaii president. “I want to say a big mahalo to all of the volunteers and organizations working together to provide these deserving mothers and their families with a day to celebrate and connect with the community.
