Legum & Norman Hosts Successful Board Member Seminar

Ocean City, MD– June 21, 2018 – Legum & Norman, an Associa Company, hosted a successful educational board member seminar held at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel.

The event hosted 80 board members and 20 community managers who heard presentations from Chad Toms and Ray Via from Whiteford, Taylor and Preston, as well as Nick Mazzarella, Associa regional vice president. The presentation topics included:

  • Board member responsibilities
  • How to run an election and nominating committee
  • The effect of technology and social media on community associations
  • How to understand reserve studies
  • Legislative updates
