PLEASANTON, CA – February 28, 2018 – Associa Northern California is excited to announce that Janis Schock, community director, has obtained her Professional Manager of Community Associations (PCAM®) designation from Community Associations Institute (CAI).
The PCAM® designation is the highest professional recognition available to managers who specialize in community association management. In order to earn the PCAM®, managers must have five years of experience, successfully complete all six M-200 level programs, earn the CMCA® designation and complete a case study.
Ms. Schock, CCAM®, CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM®, has served in the community association management industry for more than 30 years. She joined Associa in 2014 as a community manager and was promoted to branch director where she oversees the operations of the Pleasanton office. Ms. Schock has managed a diverse portfolio that includes condominiums, planned developments, age restricted communities, single family homes and mid-rise buildings.
“Associa Northern California focuses on encouraging our community managers to further their education and industry knowledge,” stated Sharon Topping, Associa Northern California president. “It takes hard work and dedication to obtain the prestigious PCAM® designation and we are extremely proud of Janis’ milestone.”
