Associa Northern California Hosts BBQ to Feed Displaced Residents and First Responders

August 01, 2018

Stockton, CA – August 1, 2018 - Associa Northern California is partnering with TriCounties Bank, A-1 Tree Service, and Associa Cares to host a BBQ on Friday, August 3rd, to help feed displaced residents and first responders of the devastating Northern California fires. The BBQ will be held at the Salvation Army’s relief center inside Simpson College in Redding, California.

The Associa team, along with volunteers from TriCounties Bank and A-1 Tree Service, will be providing food, drinks, and donated daily essentials to residents who have been displaced and are currently staying at the evacuation center. During the event, the volunteers will also be collecting donations for distribution across California.

“Our communities have been hit hard by the absolute destructive nature of the fires, and Associa Northern California understands the overwhelming need for support at this time,” stated Kelly Zibell, Associa Northern California senior vice president. “We wanted to do something to help the residents and first responders and show them we are here for them. We are a strong community and together we can endure anything.”

Associa has also earmarked up to $50,000 to assist homeowners affected by the fires through Associa’s national non-profit organization, Associa Cares. Associa Cares funds are distributed to families of Associa-managed and non-Associa managed communities.
