Palm Desert, CA – May 17, 2017 - On Friday, May 12th, the Tony Reagins’ Alumni Association hosted its annual golf tournament and silent auction to raise money for college scholarships for deserving members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coachella Valley. Associa’s Desert Resort Management team, along with other volunteers, donated their time and services to help make this event a huge success.
Participants had a full day of fun starting with a pre-party at registration, followed by a shotgun tee time and concluded with dinner, a raffle and a silent auction. The Associa team also sponsored a Hole-in-One incentive that garnered a $250 signage on the course and recognition in the dinner program.
“We are honored to be a part of this amazing organization and we look forward to participating every year,” said Michelle Johnson, accounting service supervisor and dedicated volunteer. “The team did a great job taking photos, helping with registration and selling raffle tickets. The scholarship money will assist with college for special recipients and we couldn’t be happier to help make those dreams come true.”
The tournament raised over $40,000 in scholarship funds and all proceeds were donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coachella Valley.
