NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas – February 22, 2017 – Principal Management Group (PMG) of North Texas, an Associa company, recently took part in World Read Aloud Day on February 16 at Snow Heights Elementary School in North Richland Hills, Texas.
PMG North Texas President Zan Miller, Vice President Stephanie Benham, Senior Manager Morgan Schott and the Associa Supports Kids mascot Scout, read to kindergarteners and first graders who were dressed as their favorite storybook characters for the day.
“Giving back to the community is one of our objectives at Associa and there is no better way to do that than to support reading initiatives in our local schools. Seeing the kids’ faces light up when Scout entered the room made the day special for all of us,” said Miller.
“We read some of Scout’s very own ‘autobiographies’ with safety tips for kids to stay safe and strong, and each student received their very own signed copy.” “We work hard every day to help unite communities and support families and these kinds of efforts give us a first-hand look at who is impacted by those efforts,” added Schott. “The kids had a blast giving hugs to Scout, but I think we received as much joy out of the experience as they did.”
