DALLAS, Texas – September 13, 2016 – Associa, the industry’s largest community management firm, proudly announces Jose Bosco Maldonado as its senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). This is a promotion for Maldonado, who most recently served as chief accounting officer. He is responsible for interfacing with key external company financial relationships, external auditors, tax partners and acquisitions in addition to leading the finance & accounting department.
“Jose has been with us for many years and has made us better through his leadership in both operational and financial roles, including facilitating our acquisitions process,” says Associa President & Chief Operating Officer Patrick Brensinger. “He is gifted in his ability to break down complex fiscal and accounting details in a presentable way for a clear understanding of where we want to go as a company and how we will get there.”
Prior to joining Associa in 2012, Maldonado spent 20 years working for private equity and venture capital real estate and service-related businesses. He was the CEO of Servicios Maple in Monterrey, Mexico, and before that he served in executive-level positions at Grupo Pulsar and Grupo Domos.
