ROLLING MEADOWS, IL – November 29, 2016 –Associa Chicagoland congratulates Community Association Manager Lea Marcou on being presented the Rising Star Award at the Community Associations Institute – Illinois (CAI-IL) Chapter’s 25th Annual Excellence Awards & Winter Gala.
The ceremony took place November 18 at The Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Rising Star Awards are presented to newer committee members who have proven to be an asset the chapter through their volunteerism, have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills, and have shown an interest in being future leaders.
“Lea has always gone above and beyond when it comes to serving our clients and advancing her knowledge about this business,” said Associa Chicagoland Director of Business Development Erica Horndasch. “We are so proud that she is part of the Associa team and that her industry peers also recognize what a fantastic job she does.”
Marcou has been with Associa since 2008 after working in customer service for more than 15 years. She manages a diverse portfolio of properties, including mid-rise condos, townhomes, single family homes, developer and commercial properties. Marcou obtained her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designations from CAI where she serves the local chapter as the co-chair of the homeowner forum committee.
