MARANA, AZ – November 1, 2016 – Associa Arizona, along with community supporters, got together on October 15 for an annual fundraiser to help raise funds for its non-profit organization, Associa Cares. The non-profit provides monetary assistance to families and communities whose homes have been destroyed by natural or man-made disasters.
Held at The Highlands at Dove Mountain in Marana, Arizona, the fundraiser brought together family, friends, and business partners to generate donations at its 1920’s Casino Royale themed event. Thanks to the generous sponsors and donors, the fundraiser raised $11,000 for Associa Cares. Aside from event sponsors, the fundraiser also included popular silent auction items which resulted in wonderful donations from supporters.
“Associa Arizona is thankful to be able to come together as a family to produce positive results for Associa Cares. It was a great cause that brought together both Tucson and Scottsdale branches in a fun and positive environment,” said Associa Arizona President Kirk Bliss. “With 22 event sponsors at this year’s fundraiser, Associa Arizona looks forward to increasing that goal next year.”
In 2016, Associa Cares has distributed more than $510,000 across the country to those in need, including recipients in Tucson and Phoenix. If you know of a family that has been the victim of a natural or man-made disaster, go directly to www.associacares.com to submit a request.
