SEVILLE, Spain – June 16, 2016 – Associa Northern California’s Senior Vice President Greg Smith speaks to an international panel of colleagues in Spain about the community management industry in the United States. His audience, on June 3, was the general assembly of the First International Congress of Property Managers.
The conference was conducted by Colegio de Administradores de Fincas de Espana (CAFE) from June 2-4 at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Center in Seville. Smith was invited to speak on behalf of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) of which he is the 2016 president-elect. Topics included the state of community association practice and living, trends and best practices and insight about Associa and its business model.
“To speak to business leaders from across the world is a true honor and I’m proud to have been invited on behalf of CAI and Associa,” says Smith. “The reputations of CAI and Associa are far reaching and others in the global industry are interested in their success. The growth of this industry worldwide is being realized and we are being called on to help prepare for what is to come.”
Smith is a senior vice president for Associa Northern California and will become president of CAI in 2017. He earned his CMCA®, AMS® and PCAM® certifications through CAI and has been active as a committee and board member for more than 10 years.
