JACKSONVILLE, Florida – March 21, 2016 – Associa Community Management Concepts of Jacksonville (CMC-Jax) held its Annual Board Certification event on March 5 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Jacksonville.
Partnering with Ed Ronsman of the Jackson Law Group, the standing-room only crowd of more than 60 association board members, representing more than 30 associations, were treated to breakfast and a presentation that met the statutory requirements for new board members. In addition, prize giveaway raffles were held. The CMC-Jax team was out in full force interacting with attendees and even Associa’s mascot Scout made an appearance.
“We know how important these certification courses are because one of the keys to a successful HOA is having a board that is active and informed,” says Associa CMC-Jax President Nicholas Lambiase Jr. “These events are always good for networking as well because it lets board members gain insight into what is working within other associations.”
The CMC-Jax team will soon be gearing up for its next large-scale event in August, the Annual Legal Update, which addresses changes to the statutes and their impact on communities.
