SAN ANTONIO, Texas – September 29, 2015 – Associa Hill Country employees helped light up the night with the residents of Redbird Ranch in San Antonio for its RBR Glow Run 2015. Dozens of runners took to the streets on the evening of August 22 to run the two-mile route alongside association board members and the group RBR 2Milers rated “E” for everyone. The participants all ran with glow sticks to light the way along the neighborhood route and the path was illuminated with solar and battery powered lights.
“We helped out by sponsoring signage markers and a banner in addition to giving away gift cards for Best Dressed,” said Associa Hill Country Senior Vice President Sandra Vela Mora. “The families who live in this neighborhood are highly active and involved with the HOA, so it was great to see the whole community come together for an event like this.”
“Thanks to passionate community volunteers like Barbara Jackson Hale and Rhonda Jackson Brooks, we had fabulous neighborhood participation for this fun free event before school started,” said Redbird Ranch Homeowners Association President Helen Costa-Giles. “It’s so wonderful to live in a neighborhood where the residents get out of their homes and get to know each other and we’re hoping to inspire other communities to do the same.”
Redbird Ranch, managed by Associa Hill Country, is in west San Antonio and was recently awarded the 2015 Community Association of the Year in the Very Large Category by the Community Associations Institute San Antonio Chapter.
