DALLAS, Texas – September 25, 2015 – Associa, the worldwide leader in community management, supported St. Philips School and Community Center in its quest to raise $16,000 in 16 minutes on the annual North Texas Giving Day. Scout, Associa Supports Kids’ loyal mascot, took to the streets on September 17 with the after-school students to participate in the fundraising street dance on Pennsylvania Avenue in South Dallas. “It was amazing to see Scout dancing among the hundreds of kids to support the lofty goal of reaching $16,000 in online donations,” says Associa Director of Corporate Citizenship Annette Ratliff. “The kids loved Scout and they all danced their hearts out, accomplishing their goal in 16 minutes.”
Overall, North Texas Giving day raised $33.1 million dollars through 118,667 gifts benefiting 2,022 nonprofits making it the nation’s largest online community-wide giving event.
