JACKSONVILLE, Florida – September 11, 2015 – Community Management Concepts of Jacksonville, Inc. (CMC-Jax), an Associa company, recently hosted a special seminar for association board members to keep them informed about new homeowners association (HOA) and condominium owners association (COA) laws.
Dozens of local board members were on-hand at The University of North Florida on August 22 packing a University Center conference room to hear about all the legislative changes impacting homeowner and condominium owner associations. The special guest speakers were COA and HOA legal experts Ed Ronsman, Esq. and James Rosche, Esq. from Jackson Law Group.
“Many neighborhoods and condominiums depend on a competent board of directors to understand the rules and regulations concerning housing associations,” said CMC-Jax President Nicholas Lambiase, Jr. “The ones that take it upon themselves to stay informed about recent legislation tend to be the ones who experience the most success and we’re happy to pass along all the latest information.”
The legal update session was sponsored by FCI Risk and Associa OnCall. In addition to the general session, participants were treated to breakfast, took part in a raffle and had the opportunity to network with community management specialists, legal experts, and other board members.
