An Associa Sierra North community manager and two of its communities were award recipients at the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Nevada Chapter Annual Awards Gala on Saturday February 21 at the TI Hotel in Las Vegas.
Community Association Manager Judy Pinto took home honors as Onsite Manager of the Year for the fine work she’s been doing at Highland Ranch in Sun Valley. The Associa Sierra North managed association of Wingfield Springs won the award for Master Association of the Year and Tanamera Condominiums, also managed by Associa Sierra North, won the Medium Association of the Year.
“Were so proud of Judy and couldn’t be happier to know that her hard work and dedication has been recognized,” says Associa Sierra North President and CEO Laura Price. “We’re also excited to know that two of the communities we manage won awards and those community managers are to be commended as well.”
“I am humbled that I have been nominated and considered worthy of such a high honor,” says Pinto. Her successful career can partially be attributed to the education she received from the programs offered by CAI.
Wingfield Springs launched in 1997 as the original roadmap for a master planned development in Sparks, Nevada. Owners with executive skills serve on the governing board; one in particular has received the Designated Community Association Leader (DCAL) designation from CAI, attends CAI seminars, and is actively involved in legislative advocacy efforts. Melissa Robertson who received her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation, Association Management Specialist (AMS®) and the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation from CAI serves as the community manager. The community offers 24 hour/7 day a week uniformed company patrol, 58 acres of common area, enhanced website, holiday parties, twice annual garage sale, and so much more. The community even conducted a dog behavioral campaign co-partnering with Regional Animal Services. The community proudly supports the "Buck a Door" campaign for Legislative Action Committee revenue, understanding these funds have potential to enormously influence the welfare and property values of individual owners.
The Resort at Tanamera consists of 440 apartment style homes ideally located in Reno’s South Meadows area, within the master planned community of Double Diamond Ranch. The sophisticated community has a 15,000 square foot clubhouse featuring amenities such as a world-class fitness health center with cardio theater, racquetball, squash courts, movie theater, grand piano, business center, sports lounge, over 1800 trees, 8 water features, serenity garden, playground, koi pond and lagoon style pool heated year-round! Lisa Nunley who received her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation, Association Management Specialist (AMS®) and the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation from CAI serves as the community manager. The Board of Directors of the Tanamera Condominiums Homeowners Association commits to providing its members with dedicated service, working together with integrity and honesty to meet the goals of maintaining, protecting and enhancing the assets of the Association (November 2012).
