Community Group, an Associa company, is proud to announce that Walter Campbell, vice president of operations in Virginia Beach and Colletta Ellsworth-Wicker, vice president of operations in Newport News, have both been recognized by their local chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) for their active participation during 2014. Campbell received two awards; Speaker of the Year and Distinguished Service. Ellsworth Wicker was recognized as committee co-chair and her committee received the Committee of the Year Award.
“We have a team that values both the education and social interaction they receive as members of CAI,” says Community Group President and CEO Scott Meardon. “Years of involvement have kept us abreast of changes in the industry which we can then share with the communities we manage and the teams we lead.”
Campbell joined Community Group in 1995, Ellsworth-Wicker in 2002. Both individuals are recipients of the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation and the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation from CAI. Campbell is also a member of The Ambassadors Circle, a designation for exceptional community managers working for Associa member companies.
