Associa Gulf Coast recently hosted its annual Board Member Roundtable and Trade Show. A record number of board members, vendors and community association professionals turned out for the February 5 event at the Fort Myers Airport Holiday Inn.
“We were overwhelmed with the turnout and this goes to show that association board members truly want to explore the best options for their community,” says Associa Gulf Coast President and CEO Michael Fleming. “This year we had the perfect mix of great speakers, essential training opportunities, a variety of vendors and plenty of opportunities to network and discuss best practices.”
The attendees were able to get information ranging from insurance, landscaping and legal advice, to accounting practices, neighborhood security, pest control and insight into how to run an effective board meting.
Larry J. Pothast was the keynote speaker and the author of the popular workshop entitled, “The One Hour Board Meeting.” Associa will be hosting more of these educational and highly entertaining events for board members across the state in areas including Orlando, Miramar, Sarasota and Tampa. Knowledge is power and Associa cares about empowering each and every manager and board member with the tools to protect, maintain and enhance our communities.
