RIO RANCHO, New Mexico – August 12, 2015 – Canyon Gate, an Associa company, is gearing up for its second annual Chipping for Charity golf tournament benefitting Associa Cares. Last year the event generated $5,000 to support families who’ve experienced a crisis at their home and this year organizers hope to donate even more.

“Last year we had an amazing turnout for the inaugural event and it’s looking like that success is carrying over to this year as more and more golfers are signing up to play,” says Canyon Gate Vice President Samantha Hunt. “Associa Cares helps out so many families throughout the year and we know exactly where the dollars are going and how they are being used when we donate to this worthwhile cause.”
This year’s event will once again be held at Club Rio Rancho. The shotgun start is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., August 28. The afternoon will included a round of golf, putting and long drive contests, awards banquet and raffle prizes. There are still open spots for golfers and vendors who would like to take part.
