ST. PETERSBURG, Florida – August 11, 2015 – In an effort to keep community association board members educated, Associa Gulf Coast hosts special board member events and seminars which combine educational presentations from professional management and industry specialists.
The most recent event took place in St. Petersburg, Florida at the Hilton Carillon Park on July 23. Associa Gulf Coast held a budget training seminar in conjunction with Stroemer & Company CPA Samantha Sheffield and featuring sponsors Fieldstone Landscape and Wells Fargo Insurance.

Topics and discussions revoloved around difficulties of budgeting such as unknown expenses or prior year profit/loss, reserve methods, studies, and reporting requirements. Board members in attendance commented that they were very impressed with the amount of knowledge they gained. One board member said, “This training could not have come at a better time since we are beginning to start our 2016 budget. This was a first-class event and shows that Associa truly cares about their clients’ education.”
