Associa’s Kramer-Triad Management Group Hosts Successful Board Seminar

Kramer-Triad Management Group, an Associa company, constantly strives to provide homeowners with all the tools and resources needed to meet the complex range of demands for communities.

To that end, it offered a board member educational session on Tuesday, February 25 at the Farmington Hills Manor, in Farmington Hills, Mich., featuring the nationally renowned orator Julie Adamen (www.adamen-inc.com). With nearly 120 board members and community association managers in attendance, the event was a huge success.

“We are profoundly pleased to be able to secure such a distinguished presenter, such as Julie Adamen, for our board members and community association managers,” said Jeff Gourlie, President and CEO of the Kramer-Triad Management Group. “The event was an enormous success and offered an opportunity for every attendee to learn more about their roles in our shared industry of community association management. We are looking forward to our June educational session, which will address the complexities, nuances, and direction of a successful budget process.” 

Adamen presented on the “Eight Pitfalls of Community Management,” as well as the “Top Traits of Great Managers” to the group.  She has been a professional in the common interest development industry since 1987. During that time she held several positions with the companies for whom she worked, including portfolio manager, on-site general manager, regional vice president, director of marketing and executive director.

Adamen is a nationally known author, publisher, speaker and educator in community management. She also is the publisher of The HOA Manager NewsLine, an industry newsletter featuring forward-looking articles and job opportunities with a monthly circulation over 15,000.  Adamen’s articles have been published more than 90 times in industry related periodicals. She has also self-published over 156 articles in The HOA Manager NewsLine.

Gourlie added, “All of our educational sessions are not proprietary to just our board members, but to better inform all board members throughout southeast Michigan.
