Vancouver, BC - Associa, North America’s largest community management services firm, and Baywest Management Corp announce the appointment of industry veteran Janice Pynn as president and CEO.

Her focus is on the client, ensuring each strata receives unsurpassed service that goes beyond what can be found anywhere else.”
As president and CEO, Pynn will lead the company’s operations, responsible for company growth, developer and client services, marketing, maintenance services and the oversight of corporate programs and training.
Pynn joins Associa from the competition, Simerra Property Management, a FirstService Residential Management company. As past president and partner of Simerra, Pynn was responsible for the operation and delivery of management services for more than 30,000 units. Within 11 years, she grew Simerra from a company with 13 employees and 30 clients to successfully managing more than 260 condominium clients.
Pynn is well known in the industry as the “condominium expert.” When the Condominium Act, changed in 2001, she developed the in-class and online law course for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO). For this effort, she was awarded the President’s Award (2000) for outstanding contribution. She has developed continuing education programs on such topics as the Manager’s Application of Condominium Law, Board of Directors/Manager Relationships, Aging in Place, Owner’s Meetings, Directors Responsibilities, Insurance, Tips on Buying and Selling Condominiums, Smart Meter Technology and First Year Operations. In 2009, she served as the keynote speaker at a conference on community governance hosted by the Public Policy Institute of Rennin University in Beijing, China.
