Select Community Services (SCS), an Associa company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Bade as President and CEO.
"The appointment of Ken Bade as SCS's President and CEO will greatly benefit both the company's communities and homeowners," said Christine Evans, Associa Regional Vice President. "Ken is a seasoned professional with proven success in community management and his integrity, work ethic and commitment to success will serve both our clients and our company well."
Bade will be responsible for developer and client services, marketing and new business development, maintenance services and the oversight of corporate programs and training.
He was formerly the President and CEO of Lewis Management Resources Inc. in Tucson, Arizona. An Associa employee since 2002, he began his association management career in May of 2000 as an Association Manager. Bade was promoted to President and CEO at Lewis in 2005, where he led more than 75 employees. Under his guidance, Lewis was recognized as the Associa Management Company of the Year in 2005.
Bade holds the National Board of Certification-Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM) designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and the Community Associations Institute dedignations of Associated Management Specialist (AMS) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).
Prior to working in community management, Bade served for more than 20 years in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, achieving the rank of Unit First Sergeant.
