Associa companies Alliance Association Management and Somerset Association Management combined to win 15 HOA/Condo awards at the inaugural CAI Austin Chapter Awards Gala. The event was held on December 9th at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel and recognized the managed communities throughout the greater Austin area.
"Both companies strongly encouraged their respective staffs to participate in this inaugural event and the winning evidence is clear," said Associa Regional Vice President Matt Steele. "Their support of this new event is appreciated. It means a great deal to know the distinguished judging panel is now aware of Alliance and Somerset and the award winning communities they manage in central Texas."
The CAI Austin Community Awards Program reflects its commitment to responsible community governance. The program is designed to reward outstanding performance by common-interest community volunteer leaders, professional community management, and the professional service and equipment providers who deliver superior support. This program also helps the honored programs distinguish themselves in the unique market of Austin.

Additionally, Alliance is pleased to announce that Senior Community Manager and Branch Director of the Cedar Park Office Christine Gamache was the winner of the Manager of Excellence Award. She was chosen from a pool of more than 20 applicants. Gamache began her career in September 2002 as Community Manager with Alliance Association Management and was recently promoted to Senior Manager and manages a diverse portfolio along with overseeing the Cedar Park office management.
Gamache is very involved with the Company's Spirit Team. She coordinates various activities to promote employee morale, participates in Associa Cares events and assist with the marketing team. She is also an active member on the Alliance team for the Associa Supports Kids (ASK) program. Gamache has earned her professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) from CAI.
