Associa, the leader in community association management, has
served families in neighborhoods across the U.S. for more than 30 years and is
passionate about keeping kids safe and strong. That’s why we established the Associa
Supports Kids (ASK) program, which educates parents and their children about
safety and sponsors youth sports activities to help kids stay active.
As part of the ASK program, we provide parents and their
children with important safety tips in and around the home. To get kids excited
about safety, Scout, the ASK mascot, travels around the country to share
stories and safety facts and tips with kids and their parents at community
association events.
Resources include a fun, interactive website, parents'
safety tip brochure, children’s safety tip coloring book, child identification
kit, Scout stuffed animals, youth sports brochure, sports sponsorships for
youth living in our communities, and much more.
John Carona, President and CEO of Associa, explains the ASK
mission: "Thousands of children live and play in Associa-managed
communities, and we are committed to keeping them safe and strong. Through the
Associa Supports Kids program, we educate the families who call our communities
home about child injury risks and prevention. And, to help kids lead active,
healthy lives we sponsor youth sports activities."
Recently Associa Supports Kids released a series of three childrens books:
Scout Goes to a Sleepover reminds kids about safety in and around the home, even when spending the night with a best friend.
Scout Stays Active and Strong shows kids how fun and easy it is to be safe, healthy and strong while doing their favorite activities like soccer or karate.
Scout Goes to the Beach focuses on water safety and the essentials of summer fun.
