As an industry professional, she is dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent and harmonious community associations, applying leadership strengths, fairness principals, knowledge and experience. A Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) since 2002, Shelly is invested in continuing education for managers and Board members. She shares her expertise and experience by publishing industry-related articles and speaking at various educational seminars with emphasis in management Best Practices, Community Building and Facility Operations. Shelly is the current President of CAI’s Central Arizona Chapter, a member of CAI’s National Faculty, and an instructor for civic organizations. She is a trained mediator in the practice of dispute resolution which enables compromise and communication between neighbors.

Learn more this capacity include serving as a mentor to the branch CEO’s to help them achieve Associa’s core corporate objectives as well as uphold Associa corporate policies. Steele also educates each CEO in a variety of areas including how to improve company performance, business planning and innovation.

Steele was formerly the Vice President of Associa’s National Field Services, where he was responsible for the oversight of the maintenance operations in Associa branches to further develop service and product offerings.

Prior to his position with the corporate office, Steele was President of Associa company Real Property Management, Inc., in Columbus Ohio. He holds his AMS, CMCA, and PCAM designations from the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Ohio with more than 19 years in the community association management industry.

Steele has been married for 10 years has a son and two young daughters. He and his family relocated to Arizona in 2010 after spending his entire life in Ohio. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys attending Arizona Diamondbacks baseball games and Phoenix Suns basketball games. He also attends and helps coach his children in various sports such as soccer, baseball and swimming.
