Alan is a Honolulu native who joined the United States Air Force soon after graduating from McKinley High School and spent 30 years in aircraft... Learn more maintenance, serving all over the world. Alan retired on January 1, 2000 as a Chief Master Sergeant and started his new career with Certified Hawaii on July 5, 2000.
Since joining the Certified Hawaii team, Alan has managed several accounts for condominiums, cooperatives, and planned unit developments. He has been awarded the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®), Association Management Specialist (AMS®), Accredited Resident Manager (ARM®), and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designations. His involvement in Community Associations Institute (CAI), Hawaii Chapter shows his commitment to upgrade industry standards. He was a member of the Education committee in 2002 and 2003, member of the Legislative Action committee from 2004 to 2011, and Chair/member of the ABC Committee from 2001 - 2009 and 2011, responsible for annual workshops for homeowners, board members, and managers to introduce them to the basics of community association management. Alan has given seminars to various organizations about community association management. The CAI, Hawaii Chapter, recognized his achievements by awarding him the Hoku award in 2001, which is given to the outstanding new community association leader in the state. He currently serves on the Board of the Hawaii Chapter of CAI. He is a member of the national faculty for CAI as an instructor for the M-100, The Essentials of Community Association Management; M-201, Facilities Management; M-202, Association Communications; and M-203, Community Leadership courses.
He is married to Carol, lives in Mililani, and used to jog marathons as a hobby (he has completed 56).

She is an integral part of Certified's development and management team and and together with Certified's general contractor, oversees Certified’s maintenance division on Oahu.
Stacey has successfully managed a multitude of community associations throughout the years and now focuses on providing guidance and facilitating the corporate objectives for all company divisions. She strives to instill the concept of a service business, where the managing agent provides professional guidance and exceptional service while facilitating administrative and financial goals for their properties. She has achieved the PCAM® designation, the highest level of recognition for managers awarded by the Community Associations Institute (CAI), and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Colleen started as an association payroll clerk and now manages 3 employees handling payroll for over 700 employees servicing over 200 associations, plus corporate payroll. Colleen is also responsible for all human resource issues and oversees Corporate Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.

Patti Jo Lewis

As a past President of her own homeowners association, and a Board member of the Southern Arizona Chapter of CAI for three years, Lewis’s industry experience is second to none. She is co-founder of Lewis Management Resources in Tucson, Arizona. Lewis is also past Chair of the Town of Oro Valley Development Board Review. Lewis also conducts regular training and informational seminars for Associa Member Companies.
Lewis has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Western Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University. In addition, she has many industry credentials and designations, including the CMCA, AMS, and PCAM from Community Associations Institute (CAI), and the Certified Association Manager (CAM) in Nevada.
She and her husband have been married 35 years and have two wonderful dogs. When she is not at the office, she enjoys reading, drawing and painting, traveling the country and watching college basketball.

Michael Packard

Learn more 20 recipients of the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI), and also holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate management (IREM) and the Certified California Association Manager (CCAM) designation. He also holds a Nevada Certified Association Manager (CAM) certificate and a California Brokers license.
Packard is a former National President of CAI and its Research Foundation. He is also a former President of San Diego's CAI and IREM Chapters. He is a recipient of CAI's national Distinguished Service award, IREM's Presidential Achievement award and San Diego Manager of the Year award.
After receiving a BA from New Mexico State University, where he served as senior class President, Packard earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. He served in the US Air Force, rising to the rank of Captain, and received the Bronze Star Medal for service as an Air Commando during the Viet Nam conflict.
Packard is a nationally published author and is an instructor for CAI, IREM and CACM. Additionally, he has taught property management internationally in Russia, Poland, Japan, Australia and Canada.
He is father to two step sons with his wife Jeri and has been an active “Make A Wish” volunteer for many years.
