  • Carol M. Schecter, PCAM®, CMCA®, AMS™, CM

She is responsible for setting strategy and vision, building culture, leading the senior team, and allocating capital, and while working with Benchmark's CFO, devise financial measures appropriate to Benchmark's business of servicing its extensive portfolio of common-interest community associations.

    Ms. Schecter’s career spans more than twenty (20) years in privately owned businesses as CEO, bringing significant leadership and executive management expertise to Benchmark concurrently with more than nineteen (19) years of specialized real estate, property management, developer and conversion projects, business model and start-up operations, training and development experience. Her own successful management company operated for more than nine (9) years until it was sold in 2004.

    Ms. Schecter’s participation in the Community Associations Institute (CAI) includes past service as a member of the National Credentials Committee. She is a former President, Treasurer, and Chairperson of the Membership Committee for the Greater Miami Chapter of CAI, and is currently a member of the Education Committee and Programs Committee for the Nevada Chapter of CAI. Ms. Schecter has been a guest speaker on radio broadcasts that focus on the common-interest association industry, and has been featured in newspaper articles and magazine publications.

    Ms. Schecter studied at Jersey City State College and New York University, and has continued her professional development by attending numerous higher-level business and financial courses from the American Management Association and other industry-wide established training institutes. Ms. Schecter is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Community Manager in Florida, and is a licensed Community Manager in Nevada. Ms. Schecter currently holds the Association Management Specialist (AMS™), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®), and the highly coveted and prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designations from CAI.

Once familiar with the Board and that prospective association, Harry works with the executive staff including Directors, senior managers and our CEO to develop a management proposal that optimizes value and service while strengthening the Benchmark name. Harry has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Hotel Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas as well as being a certified Community Manager. Harry brings almost a decade of community management and business development experience to Benchmark.

  • Robert Rosenberg

Rosenberg also educates each CEO in a variety of areas including how to improve company performance, business planning and innovation. Additionally, Rosenberg serves as the Chair of Associa’s Information Technology Steering Committee.

    Prior to serving as SVP, Rosenberg was CEO of Massingham & Associates, one of the largest community management firms in Northern California. Joining Massingham right out of college, he has held numerous positions in the company from controller to COO to shareholder. During his tenure with company, the company grew to five offices managing 320 plus communities in Northern California. In addition, he helped the company achieve the prestigious Certified Management Firm (CMF) designation from the California Association of Community Managers.

    Rosenberg holds a Business Administration degree from San Jose State University with a concentration in Accounting. In addition, he received his law degree from the Santa Clara School of Law in May of 1999. He started his real estate career in mortgage banking and has also worked for a Certified Public Accountant specializing in real estate accounting and a law firm specializing in real estate law. Rosenberg is a certified community association manager, and a licensed real estate broker.

    Rosenberg is affiliated with numerous trade organizations in the field of real estate including stints on the board of directors of the Executive Council of Homeowners and the California Association of Community Managers. He is married and the proud father of four children and enjoys coaching their respective soccer teams in his spare time.
