CASI and Indianapolis Community Members Raise Funds for Associa Cares
CASI’s Annual Open House Pays off for Family-Focused Charity
Carmel, IN July 13, 2010 - Community Association Services of Indiana (CASI), an Associa Company, recently celebrated its commitment to its community associations and to giving back to local families by hosting its annual open house and silent auction where teamwork and strategic bidding raised over $4,800 for non-profit organization, Associa Cares.
Sharing in the celebratory event were more than 100 attendees including board members from community associations, vendors and guests. More than 65 silent auction prizes were donated by local businesses and vendors and included landscape items, tickets to local events, restaurant gift cards and jewelry.
“We love working as a team with local community members to show support of each other and the community we live and work in,” said Matt Englert, CASI President and CEO. “The next step is finding local families in need to whom Associa Cares can donate these funds.”
Associa Cares is a national non-profit organization with a mission to lend support and assistance to families in crisis as a result of man-made or natural disasters. Donations provided by individuals and events such as CASI’s event allows Associa Cares to provide necessary goods and services to families in crisis. Disaster Request Submissions should include:
- Description of the situation
- Narrative on the individuals affected
- Detailed request of resources needed
- Explanation on how money or resources should be distributed
