HRW Adds to Financial Department

John McGushin Appointed as Accounting Manager

Raleigh, NC July 6, 2010 - HRW, Inc., an Associa company, recently hired John McGushin as Accounting Manager to oversee its financial department.

“The appointment of McGushin to our financial department will greatly benefit our communities and homeowners,” said Cathy Wade, President of HRW. “John is a seasoned professional with a proven success in operations management and we are confident that he has the experience and skills necessary to enhance the department.”

McGushin arrives at HRW with more than 23 years experience as a business manager, including time spent at Moore Property Management in Naples, Fla. While at Moore, McGushin was a partner and Financial Director and earned his Florida Community Manager license. As Financial Director, he supervised the company’s accounting staff and had direct oversight of all accounting, payroll and banking activities for all 75 Associations.

Prior to his time at Moore, he spent 20 years as a controller, including serving as Business Manager and Controller for Dagger, Johnston, Miller, Ogilvie and Hampton, LLP in Ohio for seven years. His experience in accounting extends to human resources, collections, audits, tax preparations, closings, policies and procedures and marketing. McGushin has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has previously taught real estate finance at Ohio University in Lancaster, Ohio.
