Two PMGH-Managed Associations Recognized for Excellence in C.A.R.E.S. Awards

PMGH is Honored for Second Time in 2010

Houston, TX June 23, 2010 - Principal Management Group of Houston (PMGH) is pleased to announce the Community Association Institute (CAI) Houston Chapter has honored two of the associations it manages in the CAI C.A.R.E.S. (Community Association Recognition of Excellence in Service) Second Quarter 2010 Awards.

“I could not be more proud of our Community Managers who worked hand in hand with their community,” said Vicki Ward, CEO of PMGH. “It is an honor to know our Community Managers are assisting the clients we represent so well by earning these special recognition awards.”

Suncreek Estates Property Owners Association, Inc., under the guidance of PMGH Community Manager, Hilary Chala, received the Beautification Award and the Creative Solutions Award from the CAI Houston Chapter.

• For the Beautification Award, Suncreek Estates re-invested in the community by ensuring proper priced contracts existed, enabling the community to stay on track to begin a beautification program for its entrance, including improved landscaping and updated signage.
• For the Creative Solutions Award, Board President, George Johnson began the “Mow for Hay program” which greatly relieved the association’s previous financial stress and assisted in a revitalized relationship built with Brazoria County.

Longwood Village Homeowners Association, Inc. also achieved the Beautification Award with the assistance of Community Manager, Erica Plock. Longwood Village began a tree replacement project in which residents could send in donations to buy new trees to be planted within the community. Residents donated $5,750, allowing additional trees to be planted in common areas.
