Association Services of Florida Speeds-Up Its Community Clean-Up Efforts
ASF Joins the Litter Control Campaign and Adopts a Section of State Highway
Miramar, FL June 17, 2010 - ASF, an Associa company, met with Adopt-A-Highway officials last week to finalize its commitment to “Helping Keep Florida Beautiful.”
“The ASF team is excited to dawn the vests, grab a trash bag and get to work keeping our highways clean,” said George Skrbin, President and CEO of ASF. “This project is a great way for us to work as a team and to give back to the local communities we serve.”
AAH Volunteers enter into a two-year agreement with the Department Of Transportation, during which they agree to conduct litter removal at regularly scheduled intervals, at least four times annually for a two mile section of State Highway. This eases the load of DOT work crews, enabling them to devote more time to other road maintenance and special highway projects.
