PMG of North Texas Helps Raise Funds to Fight Blindness
Dallas, TX May 26, 2010 - Principal Management Group (PMG) of North Texas joined recently the fight to cure blindness in the annual “2010 Vision Walk” hosted by the Foundation for Fighting Blindness.
In support of the Foundation for Fighting Blindness, PMG sponsored the Bonnie’s Believers team in the 2010 Vision Walk. The Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter set a national record with 1,600 walkers and exceeded its initial goal of raising $120,000 by nearing the $200,000 mark.
“We are proud to sponsor and walk in this event, not only for Bonnie, the daughter of one of our PMG team members who suffers from Retinitis Pigmentosa, but because it’s the right thing to do to help all of those suffering from vision loss,” said Mark Southall, President and CEO of PMG North Texas.
VisionWalk is the national signature fundraising event of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Since its inception in the Spring of 2006, the program has raised over $12 million to fund sight-saving research.
