Associa Vice President Recognized as an “Educator of the Year”

Margey Meyer Receives Education Honor for Second Time

Dallas, TX May 3, 2010 - For the second time, the Community Associations Institute (CAI) honored Associa Vice President Margey Meyer for her educational contributions.

Meyer co-chaired the committee that rewrote the curriculum for CAI's Professional Management Development Program (PMDP) course, M-201 Facilities Management, and heavily contributed to the rewrite of four other PMDP courses including: Community Leadership, Community Governance, Association Communications and Financial Management. The PMDP is considered an important building block in the community management industry and is designed to give new managers a knowledge base and experienced managers a deeper understanding of all aspects of association management.

Meyer, CMCA, PCAM and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and Florence, Italy, has been active in real estate management and construction since 1971. She has served in numerous leadership and educational capacities for CAI, and originally received the "Educator of the Year" honor in 2007.

CAI is the only national membership organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive and successful community associations. The organization and its chapters represent managers, community association volunteer leaders, management companies and professionals who provide products and services to association-governed communities.
